Who´s Omibia

The necessity to create a label for baby & child began after many years of working in the fashion industry for many different companies around the world.

I’ve always loved children’s clothes even before I had children myself. They look so intricate and beautiful. The way they fit, the materials and the simplicity of the style.

My first collection “a papier-mâché doll” using only natural materials was the foundation for my later and current collections.

It all started with the birth of my first child in 2007. I became more conscious about what to eat, what to wear and compassionatly respectful towards our planet and its people. 

The big discovery in my life was
 “the importance of following the natural processes of things”.

Omibia was conceived by Mercedes Bermúdez in 2010.
It is a play with words Om (in hindu means the sacred, the purest) and Bia (the femenine of bio, biodegradrable). 

With each stage of a child’s development, Omibia is there,
step by step. 

Constantly developing newdesigns for children using methods that are both environmentally friendly and ethical.

Everything Omibia makes is pure and natural.

 Our cotton is 100% organic and the rest of our materials
are as organic and pure as we can find. 

Our goal is to be 100% organic in everything.
